Register 1: Adoration of the Magi.
Register 2: saint Mary Magdalene holding an ointment pot; saint Christopher; saint John the Baptist holding the Lamb of God (Agnus Dei).
Pointed trefoils.

Museum's opinion 2009: German, late 14th century.

Extensive traces of gilding.

Reverse
Reverse of the Crucifixion scene divided into 5 compartments, the central one being circular. This indicates that this panel may originally have been part of a set of writing tablets. Blue and white label with inscription: 'Collection Wernher no. 100'.

Provenance
Collection of Sir Julius Wernher (d. 1912), Bath House, London; on loan to English Heritage and displayed at Ranger's House since 2002.
