Standing Virgin and Child (Vierge glorieuse); Virgin holding a flower in her right hand; two angels holding candlesticks.

Jülich 2007: France or Rhineland, 1st half of 14th century.

Hinges
Two missing hinges, the traces of which have vanished, as the right border has been replaced.

Reverse
Flat and smooth.
Ink inscription: 'A Grand'.

Object Condition
Missing: right border (replaced with strip of ivory).

Provenance
Collection of Friedrich Marx: Marx bequest to the Museum in 1919.
