Saint Roch with pilgrim's staff and hat uncovers his leg to show a sore to an angel; dog carrying a loaf of bread; hat decorated with a motif of crossed keys.

Curved. The handle which was originally set into a chamfered slot has been replaced with a wooden handle.
Label with inscription: 'coll Dr Thoby. XVI'.
Object Condition
One hole in the upper part of the pax and one on either side.

Collection of Dr Thoby, Nantes (no. XVI; bought from the art dealer Mochard (?) on 15 May 1964): his bequest to the museum in 1969.
