Side 1: Standing Virgin and Child (Vierge glorieuse); two standing angels holding candlesticks; Virgin holding a flower in her right hand.
Side 2: Crucifixion with the Virgin and saint John the Evangelist; Sun and Moon.
Kneeling angel supporting the volute.
Foliated decoration: vine leaves.

Carved in the round.

Object Condition
Right hand of the supporting angel is chipped. Large chip at the base of the stem on the Crucifixion side.

Provenance
Said to have come from Logroño. Collection of the Marqués de Monistrol, Madrid. On the French art market in 1909 (Koechlin 1924).
