Object Condition
Missing: left forearm of Christ; fruit (?) formerly held by the Virgin.Part of the Virgin's left arm, made of a different piece of ivory, has become detached.Partly hollow (pulp cavity).

Provenance
Collection of Girod de Desnes (or Resnes): his bequest to the Museum in 1920.
