2010.9.2: standing lady (bride?).
2010.9.3: standing man holding a chalice-like cup (groom?).
2010.9.4; 2010.9.5; 2010.9.6; 2010.9.7: seated embracing couple (meeting of lovers); couple holding hands.
Foliated decoration.

Museum's opinion 2011: French, c. 1550.

Comments
The knives are contained in a fish-shaped case (2010.9.1). They may have been a wedding cutlery set.

Purchased in 2010 from Kunstkammer Georg Laue (dealer), Munich, thanks to the Marie Adelaide Devine Fund and the Dr. Robert L. and Florence Foster Berg Fund.
