Standing Virgin and Child (Vierge glorieuse); two angels holding candlesticks.
Medallions containing quatrefoils enclosing protruding cones in the spandrels.

Volbach 1923: France, late 14th century.

Hinges
Traces of two missing hinges on the right side.

Reverse
Flat and smooth. Cancelled red ink inscription: 507. Other illegible ink inscriptions.

Object Condition
Two holes in the upper part of the panel (plugged with ivory).
Missing: candles held by the angels.
Vertical crack.

Provenance
Acquired by the Kunstkammer in 1847.
