Seated Virgin and Child; Virgin holding a flower in her right hand; Christ standing on the Virgin's left knee; Christ holding a flower in his left hand.

Museum's opinion 2010: French, 14th century or 19th century (?).

Reverse
Back cut out and scored for gluing to a throne.

Object Condition
Missing: crown (4 holes for attachment with fragments of broken wooden pins), right arm of Christ.
4 holes for attachment to the throne with remains of wooden pins. Outer corners of the base have been cut in modern times.

Provenance
Bought by Henry Walters from Henry Daguerre in Paris in 1929; Walters Art Museum, 1931, by bequest.
