Register 1: Annunciation of the Virgin's death by an angel (Gabriel) with a palm branch; the Virgin in conversation with her maidens; the Virgin's prayer.
Register 2: Miraculous transportation of the apostles, bringing them to the Virgin's deathbed; saint Peter holding a key.
Register 3: Death of the Virgin (Dormition); apostles; Christ holding the soul of the Virgin.

Traces of three missing hinges on the right side.

Object Condition
Left border partly broken.

Comments
The lower register of the right wing has survived and is now in the British Museum (1978,0502.5).

Acquired in 1902.
