Register 1: Courting couple (meeting of lovers); couple holding hands; lady holding a chaplet. Lady covering her lover with her cloak.
Register 2: Seated couple; youth with a hawk on his wrist; lady holding a dog. Lady crowning her kneeling lover with a chaplet.
Rosettes and medallions enclosing quatrefoils in the spandrels. Border of dentils.

Traces of a red wax seal.

Object Condition
Small chips to the edge.
Scratches in the background of the scenes.
Hole in the upper part so the tablets could be held together.

Collection of Pierre Révoil, Lyon (no. 358); acquired from him by the Musée du Louvre in 1828.
