Height: 88mm

Couple playing chess in a tent; man with his left hand around the pole supporting the tent; courting couple (meeting of lovers); lady holding two chess pieces in her left hand.
Corner terminals: four crouching monsters.

Prior to WWII
Central hole in the upper part of the case.
Today
Almost completely destroyedd in WWII; four fragments have survived.

Provenance
Figdor collection, Vienna; acquired by the Museum in 1935; undocumented after 7 April 1945; four fragments returned by the Soviet Union to the Museum in 1958.
