Hinges
Traces of two missing hinges on either side.
Reverse
Flat and smooth, with longer edges chamfered. Label with inscriptions: '13' (cancelled) and 'J.B.5'.
Object Condition
Cracked. Broken at the hinges on both sides. Pierced by two holes, one at the top centre and the other under the centre of the arch.
Provenance
Collection of Joseph Brassine, Liège: bought from his heirs in 1955 by the Musée d'Archéologie et d'Arts Décoratifs, which became the Département d'Arts Décoratifs of the Grand Curtius in 2009.
