Seated Virgin and Child; naked Christ; Christ seated on the Virgin's left knee; Virgin holding a flower in her right hand; crown; bench.
Crosshatched background; columns; roped border.

Tournai 1960: 15th century.
Steyaert 1994: Netherlands (Tournai?), c. 1430 (?).
Bruges 2010: North-east France and Flanders, 2nd half of the 15th century.

Polychromy - Gilding
Traces of gilding and polychromy: green (lining of cloak and flower stem); gold (Virgin's crown).

Reverse
Curved.

Object Condition
Large circular hole in the Virgin's lap filled in with ivory; nail below Virgin's right knee.
