Attribution
Unknown

Hinges
Two ring hinges on either side.

Reverse
Curved and rough: retaining the natural curve of the tusk, and thus not closing properly. Blue and white label with inscription: '31'.

Provenance
Possibly the item described in a pre-1888 handwritten inventory kept at the museum as: 'Un triptyque en ivoire: scène religieuse. XIIIe siècle.' (p. 7).
