Polychromy - Gilding
Traces of gilding and polychromy: red, gold (architectural details; halo, lining of the Virgin's cloak, decorative pattern along the hem of the Virgin's cloak).

Reverse
Flat and smooth. Inscription: '6'.
Circular stains.

Object Condition
Missing: lower left border. Two holes on the upper left side.

Comments
This piece probably was originally the outer wing of a polyptych.

Provenance
Collection of Léon Bonnat (b. 1833, d. 1922): his bequest in 1922.
