Register 1: kneeling angel swinging a censer.
Register 2: saint Stephen holding a book and a stone; saint Andrew with a saltire cross.

Hinges
Traces of two missing hinges on the right side.

Polychromy - Gilding
Traces of gilding and polychromy: architectural details, angel's wings, saint Andrew's halo.

Reverse
Flat and smooth. Inscription: '7'.
Label with inscriptions 'A14', '977' and '7'. Traces of glue. Dark round stain, possibly burnt.

Object Condition
Missing: upper part of the gable. Four bore holes on the left side.

Comments
This piece probably was originally the outer wing of a polyptych.

Provenance
Collection of Léon Bonnat (b. 1833, d. 1922): his bequest in 1922.
