Walrus ivory

Seated queen holding a sceptre and wearing a crown; male servant holding a cup or goblet; soldier in armour.
Throne like a fortified wall with battlements and pinnacles.

Westwood 1876: Germany, 14th century(?).
Dalton 1909: Germany, 13th - 15th century.
Museum's opinion 2011: Germany, 14th - 15th century.

Reverse
Carved in the round.

Object Condition
Missing: one pinnacle on the back of throne.
Crack: right side, diagonally through figure holding spear and queen's lap. Possible reattachment.
