Saint John the Baptist holding the Lamb of God (Agnus Dei); standing Virgin and Child; saint James the Greater with pilgrim's hat, staff and satchel; satchel decorated with a scallop shell.

Traces of two hinges (?) on either side (more visible from the back).
Reverse
Reverse divided into six compartments for the weights and scale. Numerous inscriptions, including an incised inscription: '1713 Baro Schmid'.
Blue and white label with inscription 'No. 1410'. Ink inscription 'N. 1410'.
Object Condition
Vertical break down the right side of the panel.
The divisions at the back of the panel seem to have been filed down.

Collection of Andreas Ulrich Mayr (b. 1732, d. 1802), councillor and chaplain at the court of the Regensburg prince-bishops (Regensburger Fürstbischöflichen Rat und Hofkaplan): his sale, 1803, lot 182; acquired at this sale for the royal collections; transferred from the Königliche Vereinigte Sammlungen to the Bayerisches Nationalmuseum, Munich in 1866.
