Width: 81 mm

Crucifixion with the Virgin and saint John the Evangelist.
Titulus with inscription 'INRI'.
Foliated decoration; twisted columns; crosshatched background.

Gourdou 1988: early 16th century.

Reverse
Curved. The handle which was originally set into a chamfered slot in the back has been lost.

Object Condition
Worn.
Two holes in the upper part of the piece.
Missing: upper border and right corner.

Provenance
Collection of Jules Pellisson (b. 1839, d. 1915), judge at the Périgueux tribunal and member of the Société historique et archéologique du Périgord: his bequest to the museum in 1916.
