Side 1: saint George and the dragon; spear; arch.
Side 2: soldier in armour on horseback; soldier on foot; shield; gabled architecture.

Carved in the round.

Object Condition
Very damaged.
Missing: upper part on one side, including the head of the soldier on horseback.

Comments
This chess piece was possibly used as a rook.

Provenance
Found at Frederiksberg Allé 7, Frederiksberg, Copenhagen. Purchased by the Nationalmuseet in 1856.
