Depth: 9 mm

Register 1: Entry into Jerusalem; apostles including saint John the Evangelist holding a martyr's palm; tree; men and women watching from the battlements; city.
Register 2: Last Supper with saint John the Evangelist leaning on Christ's breast; Christ feeding Judas across the table; Judas reaching out for a fish; ewers.
Register 3: Pilate washing his hands; Flagellation; whips.

Williamson 2002: France, c. 1350-1370.
Warren 2014: France (Paris), c. 1350-1370.

Hinges
Traces of two missing hinges on the right side.

Polychromy - Gilding
Traces of polychromy.

Reverse
Smooth. Slightly tapering at the bottom.

Object Condition
Seems to have suffered damage from fire.
Missing: part of the background to the left in the lower register.
Upper left corner chipped. Some cracks. Burn marks on the reverse (top right).

Comments
The left wing is now 88259056 (EE95) in the Wernher Collection, London (see related objects).

Collection of Ernest Becket: his sale, Christie's, London, 8 May 1902, lot 47; sold for 195 guineas to Litchfield. Collection of John McAndrew: his sale, Christie's, London, 2 December 1925, lot 158. Collection of John Francis Mallett; his bequest to the Museum in 1947; Department of Western Art (WA1947.191.199); transferred to the Department of Antiquities in May 2008.
