Reverse
Flat, with heavy scoring.

Object Condition
The upper and lower parts of the piece have been sawn off. Two holes along the right edge, probably for the missing fittings.

Comments
This piece is part of the same ensemble as another piece also in Kiev and similarly fragmentary (Inv. 193 BR). See related objects.

Provenance
Collection of Octave Homberg (b. 1876, d. 1941), Paris: his sale, Paris, 11-16 May 1908, lot 476 (ill. on p. 65) (purchased by Gourert?). Collection of Bogdan Khanenko (b. 1848, d. 1917) and Varvara Khanenko: given with the rest of the collection by Varvara Khanenko in 1918 to the city of Kiev.
