Register 2: Adoring Magi (part of Adoration of the Magi).Centre panel Standing Virgin and Child; Virgin holding a stem of flowers; Christ holding a bird; blessing gesture.

Register 1: Nativity; Joseph holding Christ.
Register 2: Presentation in the Temple; Christ standing on the altar between the Virgin and Simeon.
Pointed trefoil in the gable.

Museum's opinion 2013: 19th-century imitation of the French 14th-century style.

Attribution
Unknown

Hinges
Strips of metal on the outer side of the panels acting as hinges.

Reverse
Flat and smooth. Centre panel with chamfered outer edges. Scroll with incised inscription in Gothic script on the back of the wings: 'sancta maria ora pro nobis'.

Provenance
Purchased by the Museum on 9 March 1942 from Kunsthandel Mozes Mogrobi in Amsterdam.
