Known between ca. 1950 and 1987 as Inv. 188. Later inscription '188' (former Museum number) and Accorsi label '5029 iaaa' and undecipherable inscription.

Collection of princes Trivulzio (Milan); bought from prince Luigi Alberico Trivulzio through the antique dealer Pietro Accorsi (Turin) in 1940.
