On the scabbard: two unidentified coats of arms and banner with geometrical patterns.

Carved in the round.

Comments
The handle would partly be hidden inside the scabbard, so the female head was visible above the leather.

Provenance
Found during excavations of Much Park Street in Coventry, in 1986.
