Side 1: men dancing; lady holding a fruit (?); dancing jester holding a bauble; male musician playing the flute and the drum (possibly the Dance of the Bride). Foliated decoration; flowers (roses); strawberries.
Side 2: courting couples (meeting of lovers); couples holding hands; man holding a flaming torch (?); male musician playing the flute and the drum; collared dog.
Foliated decoration; grapes (vine). Crosshatched background.

Museum's opinion 2012: South Germany (?), end of 15th century.

Reverse
Carved on both sides.

Object Condition
Missing: 4 thin teeth. 2 thin teeth damaged. The centre panel has broken vertically into three pieces which have been glued back together.
