Walrus ivory

Height: 80mm

Seated figure of the Church (Ecclesia), holding a sceptre and a chalice; kneeling figure; musician.
Interlaced foliated decoration.

Museum's opinion 2009: North Germany or Scandinavian, 13th century.

Bought in 1856 from Bergmann, art dealer in Parchim.
