Standing Virgin and Child (Vierge glorieuse); two angels swinging censers.
Wing, right
Crucifixion with the Virgin and saint John the Evangelist.
Rounded trefoils in the spandrels.

Brussels 1964: France, 14th century.

Two broken hinges.

Polychromy - Gilding
Traces of polychromy: red (cloak of saint John).

Reverse
Flat and smooth.

Comments
Both panels were made from the same tusk.

Provenance
Vermeersch bequest in 1911.
