Register 1: Crucifixion; swooning Virgin supported by Holy Women; saint John the Evangelist and onlookers holding scrolls.
Register 2: Adoration of the Magi.

Museum's opinion 2011: French, c. 1350.

Attribution
Unknown

Hinges
Hinges no longer visible as the inner edge has broken away and been repaired.

Reverse
Flat and smooth. Handwritten inscriptions: '36' (in red), '327 S'.

Object Condition
Missing: left edge of the panel, where the hinges once were (repaired with a strip of ivory).
Hole in the right edge, certainly to secure a clasp.

Provenance
In the Stiftung Geistlicher Rat Schellenberger from 1832; given to the Museum by the Krankenhaus-Stiftung in 1838.
