Crucifixion; swooning Virgin supported by Holy Women; saint John the Evangelist and onlookers holding scrolls; sun and moon.
Incised trefoils in the spandrels.

Berliner 1926 and Museum's opinion 2014: France, 2nd half of the 14th century.

Reverse
Later metal frame with inscriptions with former number ('379'?) and current museum number.

Object Condition
Vertical cracks down the panel: this panel was probably framed to keep the pieces together.
Central hole in the upper part of the panel.

Provenance
Possibly with Inv. MA 2044 from the Nerianer-Institut, Aufhausen. Acquired by the Museum before 1896.
